Recently down grade to $25 dollar plan per month ulimited talk and text and now I cannot send or receive any text. Also when place a local call there is a voice notification of long distance fee. Is this normal? Please help before I cancel the account all together. Thanks.

Hi, sorry you are having troubles.
That plan is only province wide talk so if the long distance is out of province, then you will not be able to do it.
Does your self serve account show the right plan and say it is active?
Try this and see if it fixes it.
Login to self serve - Plan & add-ons - Lost/Stolen phone - Suspend service.
Logout and wait a few minutes then login and select found phone.
This will not blacklist your phone.
