If I call forward to a long distance number in Canada and I have unlimited calling in Canada, do I pay long distance on the number receiving the calls or would I be charged through my actual number?

@therad, you should be fine with doing the call forwarding. One thing to always keep in mind is this is a prepaid service. There is no bill shock. If there is something you want to try to see if your plan allows it, just try it without concerns of bill shock. The worst case is it doesn't work which means the feature is not included in the plan.

To add to @stonechucker's reply:
You don't incur overage / extra charges with Public Mobile's prepaid concept - if you haven't paid for a service up-front you don't have access to it.
One way to avoid the uncertainty (or if someone is on a province-wide plan only) is to get a local Fongo number, forward calls to that and use your data to receive the call.

I believe you'll be fine, no long distance charges. I've not done it, but it seems to make sense as unlimited Canada-wide calling means no extra charges, and on the unlimited talk plans, forwarding a call is included.
