On occasion there are announced maintenance periods lasting about 10 hours, the most recent one occurring May 5th. Sometimes there is also unannounced maintenance, however. When these occur, just try again later, as they are usually no more than a couple of hours in duration. It appears to be done now, by the way, as I was able to log in a moment ago.
