Hello,
I would like to refer a family member to come onboard Public Mobile, but she came across this ad in Kijij, which offers $25 credit. Is this legit? Isn't the $25 promo over? Or are there special phone numbers that are entitled to $25 referral?
Thanks

The ad is wrong. This expired promo could come back. If you are referring other people, only your friend gets the $10 credit. The $25 was for both.

The ad was posted 2 days ago, so just double-checking
@alisonchains Most of those ads get refreshed by the posters looking to get the PM $1.00 referral credit

@alisonchains That ad referrers to an old promo that Public Mobile that was offering a while back. The standard sign-up credit is $10.00 when you use a referral to cover the cost of the sim. You can also browse the announcements section on this site for any new promos. furthe

There's no current $25 promo. But it is useful for the standard referrals which is $10 credit for the new customer and $1/30 days for the existing customer as long as the new customer used the existing customers number.
The ad is even wrong in one part in that the $25 promos didn't apply to in-store activations.
