Scheduled Maintenance on October 20th

Hello Community, 

We wanted to give you an update that Activations, My Account Access and Ticket submissions will be unavailable during the following maintenance window:

October 20 | 1:00 AM EST to 10:00 AM EST   or   October 19  | 10:00 PM PST to 7:00 AM PST 

During this time you will be unable to log into: 

  • My Account | Website or App
    PublicMobile.ca will still be available to view. 
  • Community
    Community will still be available to view only. 
  • Chatbot
    You will be unable to submit a ticket through our virtual assistant, but you can still ask questions for help information.

Once splash pages are down, you will be able to complete your activation or log into your account.

im not sure, i been home connected to the wifi, so havent really tested it out, but it hovers around 2-3 bars

Don't forget to restart the phone! Mine is also acting up again I think they're still working on last nights issues a little bit, should be smooth sailing by the morning !

try to take the sim out and  put it in again.  or try in another phone 

also try Reset all networks 

if still SOS and no change, ask PM to check

Just open ticket with PM using the Orange Chatbot icon on the lower right. Type the question Submit ticket and select Contact Us to get to ticket open screen

would this cause me to have the error of "Network not registered"? it started recently and now i can make or receive call.  data and some texts seem to work.

My eSIM has worked now, just had to restart my phone! If it doesnt work I hope you get Flavius he is the best agent on the team by far it seems !

not yet, they made me go buy a physical sim, now im waiting for the reply back from the support agent

Is Bell down as well or is it just specific to you that you are no longer in service with them? If other networks are down too there might be a much larger issue 🤔

We are all in the same boat, customer service seems overwhelmed and working hard at the issue. Hopefully soon. It came at the worst possible time for me as well, it's just not our lucky day today, so just gotta keep on moving! 🙂

When is the service coming online again?!?   Wasn’t aware of outage and new activation now stuck - lost service from bell and yours isn’t available (eSIM won’t activate)…

def, not a scam, they are a flanker company of TELUS. just probably as you said something went south with last night maintenance scheduled service. Now into the waiting game.

I think it's 100% issue due to the maintenance overnight, unfortunately we're just gonna have to wait while the tech guys try to figure it out. I talked to some really nice guys in another forum earlier and they led me to believe the company is definitely not a scam, hopefully they're right and I'm sure they're putting all their resources into it 🙂

I had a really nice guy flavius I believe he was very kind, based on the amount of messages coming in I'm assuming it's a system issue, we might all just have to wait a few more hours unfortunately, tech can be tricky especially when you need it the most

I’ve been dealing with 3-4 different “people,” the latest one was just plain rude and told me to go read the terms of service.

You can just chargeback with your credit card if that's the case, I'm in business as well and a chargeback hurts the company a lot, so I can't imagine they'd just let you sit here with no refund, perhaps give it a bit longer.  I was told to try again with a new email address, but I'm not sure. This does seem like a good deal and I believe they're having issues due to the maintenance, but I just want phone service in this country ASAP. was yours also eSIM? That seems to be the issue this morning

Yup! Took 2 different payments from me, and are refusing to refund me. Gave me a “credit.” I said I don’t want that, I want my money back, and they literally just said no.

I just subscribed, got charged for the new plan, but the account creation failed. it say to submit a ticket. i tried that too and it failed. the service maintenance was supposed to last until 10am EST its already 12:25pm

I signed up just now and keep getting sim card not provisioned. There is no service available in my area. I'm not getting a text code to my new mobile number because it's not active in my phone. Is this a scam? Should I file a chargeback??

Suddenly cellular data was removed from my plan. I no longer have a number associated with cellular data. Really sucks.

I can’t pay my bill for some reason - says cannot process at this time, try again later. My account is now suspended… not sure if this is related to this maintenance, but this seems like an awful mess
