verification code and group texts

I don't receive the verification code via text to finish setting up my account and I'm not receiving group texts. My data is on and so is mms messaging.

Yes, I ported my number with eSIM yesterday from another cell provider. I’ve received texts, but not group texts. I’m not sure about calls.
