Data Throttled on Unlimited Plan

Why is my data throttled when my plan allows unlimited data when I'm not on 5G? I went over the 30 Gb limit but it was all on a 4G network.I want the throttling removed for rest of my billing period.

that's not what my plan says;"30 GB data at 5G .... and unlimited data at reduced speed"

The plan is 2 years old.

That's not what the fine print says. When not on 5G, data is unlimited.
