Sorry you had to go through that. Supports been great for me but here and there you do get a bad apple. You should show your proof to another representative.
You have the option during checkout. If your sim was from public mobile you get the option to convert your phone you esim. If your sim isnt from public, then you still get the option to use existing phone number and transfer it to public mobile
