Hi. I thought Public Mobile offers maximum 3G data transmission and on phone calls yet the top left corner of my cellphone shows Public Mobile LTE when I am not in WiFi range. Why doesn't it show Public Mobile 3G?

Public Mobile doesn't perform a credit check. Koodo does.

I really meant 500 MB/mth for $30. Thanks for the correction. For $35, I would receive 1 GB of data per month. Do I need to wait for the Oct. 28, 2018 renewal date to change my data plan?

If you turn off data, then you won't receive cellphone calls nor text messages, right?
