I had this problem at first with Public mobile. I turned off the Public Mobile esim, rebooted my pixel, deleted App/messages cache and memory, rebooted pixel, turned on Public Mobile esim, rebooted, and RCS worked after that.It took a lot of web sear...

I switched to Public Mobile last September and moved my landline number to mobile at the same time. I still have text messages going back many years.

This worked after changing number in google failed. Thank you!
