I'm having the same issue. My connection drops off and I have to manually select the network again to connect. It looks like I have to manually connect after restarting my phone as well.
I just ported from Bell yesterday using an HTC M8 and was having the same problem. I tried adding the extra APN and it didn't work. I selected Reset to Default and then also overwrote the existing Telus APN. This seemed to fix the issue with send/rec...
