I think the only problem most people have is with porting their number over. Afterwards it's pretty much smooth sailing so if you can get past that initial bump, Public Mobile has no disadvantages
I'm using the OnePlus 3 and before on Android 6.0 it would say LTE and now on Nougat it says 4G. I haven't noticed any decrease in speeds I believe 4G still refers to LTE. The phone works great on Public Mobile
