The Sim card is newly activated. After I activated the sim card, I realized I typed an extra 1 as the IMEI number for my phone. I need to correct the IMEI number associated with my activated SIM card. Please advise how to do this?

I need to change the IMEI number associated with my activated SIM. How do I do this, so my SIM works in my new phone?
