Hi, yes especially with the $25 plan which I'm on. I did my porting just before bed time which was done the next morning. I switched my mom's the following month during the day and hers took about 18 hours. Other than that no major issues with the service. The day before payment is due though, your online account will say Plan Expired which freaked me out initially. But apparently the payment is deducted from your credit card or whatever if that's your choice of payment. PM will even send you a text to confirm payment made.

With school starting tomorrow, I too signed my kids up for PM. Searched different providers and PM seem to be the best value and service.
