On my Pixel 6, I used my secondary SIM slot's IMEI to attempt a transfer from Bell to Public.
Shortly thereafter, I got this message:
Hey, it's Public Mobile. We're having trouble transferring your number. Looks like you entered an incorrect ESN/MEID. Someone from our team will contact you shortly using your original phone number or the alternate number provided. You can also get in touch via our virtual assistant at: https://publicmobile.ca.ada.support/chat
I have not received a call. When using the eSIM, my phone calls go through and show the correct number. However, I am not receiving text messages or calls to my number.

@syrupflow the port failed. Unfortunately, no one will call as indicated. I will send you another message with the phone number to call to redo port. Do not use IMEI #. use you account number instead

Texting Is an ongoing problem for new customers. You need to put in a ticket using chat bot. They need to do something on there end to fix it.
