Question about mobile data

Hello, I choosed the 20 dollar plan (talk only) but I saw on my mobile 7.2Mb used already. Is it just a mistake ? The mobile data is blocked by default on 20 dollar plan (talk only unlimited) right ? No surprises fee ?

The funny thing is that sms is disabled so why wouldn't the data also be. I don't want to test again because it may consume more.

It is an android and it used 8MB of data with the 20$ provincial plan (talk only) no text and no data. So the data used is just the data attempted by the phone to use. Thanks.

You need to enable data on the phone even if you don't have a data plan to send and receive MMS if you have MMS on your plan.

Do you have an iPhone? If yes, the iPhone uses a bit of data during the activation process.

You should not receive any data-related charges since Public is a prepaid service.
