Porting issue - Cannot receive calls and text - Also cannot send text

I need some help.  Today I ported my number. It seems number has been ported but I have problems.

 

I can make phone calls but I cannot receive any calls and text messages.  Also I cannot send any text messages. 

 

Anyone knows whats wrong and what to do?

 

Update:

I can now receive and make calls but cannot receive or send text messages!!!

The text messaging is working now. 

When you purchased your plan are you sure you added texting to your plan?  If you go into your self serve is Global Texting listed as something in your plan?

After posting this tread, I got a text message from PM that transfer request has been completed.  I ported the number around 4 hours back from Petro Canada Mobile.

 

Now I can call and receive the calls but cannot send or receive text messages.  I have restarted the phone, number of times.

your port is incomplete.

 

how long ago did you port, can take 2 minutes can take 2 hours.

 

who did you port from?  if koodo was your PM email the same as your old provider?

 

what info did you provide to port your number?  safest are account number and old account name exatly as on statement

How long ago did you start your port and from what provider?  It can take up to a couple of hours to be fully completed.
