Plan Change resulted in being billed old Plan

sredshaw

Good morning, I changed my plan the other day before my auto-pay was supposed to hit and made sure to select "change on my next billing date". It immediately billed me for my old plan, and then changed my plan to the cheaper one and left the rest as credit in my account.

Is it possible to get a refund of the extra amount? I changed my plan because I needed to be a bit leaner this month. If that can't be done, can we just change it back to my previous plan which is the current $40 plan.

Not on me. On the other posters of the thread that weren't your solution.

All good. Thanks for the clarification.

Like I said, I'm looking for help with my account. It doesn't need jokes or witticisms.

Where's the snark? Where're the jokes and witticisms? After your nice thank you I said something about what you said.

So let's re-cap.
Post 1 reply that you selected as the solution: guessed that you likely did click change now. suggested to talk to the mods.
Post 2: talked about any possible refund and to just let it be
Post 3: also talked about refunds and let it be and some other ideas
Post 4 mine: guessed that you likely did click change now. mused about a bug which is always a possibility and giving you some benefit of the doubt to you. Then went on with the same thing about refunds as already mentioned.
Post 5 your thank you: always appreciated to see thanks around here. People often just come and go without a word. But then you proceeded to diss as "opinions" the posts that said much the same thing.

As I write this, maybe just maybe you actually meant other threads and posts elsewhere that just offer opinions and not help. If so, I apologize for assuming the worse from your post. That you were talking in generalities and not this thread specifically.

Because what you said is disrespectful of people just trying to help.

Not sure who this is in reply to but everybody here is trying to help. Then you throw shade. Nice.

I guess you did manage to hit change now. Unless there's a wicked bug in there.

I'm not sure what you mean by "left the rest as credit".

By the time you might get refunded your renewal might come along. The next renewal will take that Available Funds and use it towards your plan.

@sredshaw, you will need to contact the moderators.  You can do this by the "?" in the bottom right hand corner.  PM is a no refunds provider as it is prepaid.   Even if they issued a refund it can take around 30 days I have heard.  Now the money will sit in your account until the next renewal.  If you want to stay on your old plan you will have to ask them to switch you back.

@sredshaw tour refund will probably arrive around your next due date. It's better to leave the funds there to pay for your next cycle renewal date.

@sredshaw  From what you describe it sounds like you selected the immediate plan change option.

You best bet is to contact PM explain the error and ask for help. To submit a ticket to the Moderator Team, please start a conversation with the Public's virtual assistant, SIMon by clicking the icon below:
