I have a credit card that offers cash back for recurring bill payments.
Public Mobile is one of the bills I pay recurring every month.
I noticed that I do not receive the full cash back amount.
Contacted the card company and says that Public Mobile has not set their MCC to bill payment so I will not be receiving the full cash back amount.
MCC means Merchant Category Codes
The Question:
1. What is the MCC for Public Mobile?
Thank you

It is probably coded as telecomunications, but not recurring. If you can find a grocery store or gas station who sells vouchers without extra fee, merchant code there will allow higher cashback on some credit cards.

Ok I'll just find a way to maximize my cash back.
Thanks.
No. The 30 day term floats around. Some months have 30 days. Some 31. One 28/9. Your renewal date is generally always changing.

I would add further to wetcoaster...recurring payments are usually the same amount and usually the same day. Public Mobile is not the same day so it can't really be a recurring payment..

@PublicEcho - Public mobile is not a recurring bill payment. This issue has been brought up several times before. If you do a search in the community for recurring bill payment, you will see multiple topics discussing this.
Sorry...

Since Public Mobile is no frills prepaid and has a 30 billing cycle (as opposed to monthly on the same day as with most other providers), the feature you are looking for is not available here.
