^which is why I said as far as I recall. Which means I wasn't 100% sure

@chukdefatey,

I suggest you to download the manual of the Samsung Corby Pro GT-B5310R from Samsung here.

Maximum measured SAR values for the B5310R are :

GSM 850
Head: 0.50 W/kg
Body: 1.04 W/kg

GSM 1900
Head: 0.48 W/kg
Body: 0.55 W/kg

UMTS Band 5
Head: 0.38 W/kg
Body: 0.40 W/kg

UMTS Band 2
Head: 0.95 W/kg
Body: 0.54 W/kg

This phone is compatible with Telus/Koodo/Public Mobile 3G network once unlocked.

@Leapfrog, IMEI cheker is a very very basic tool & it shouldn't be relied on. As far as I recall that corby pro is a 2G GSM only phone which means it will not run on PM's HSPA+ network. So your only options is Rogers, Fido & Chatr

@Leapfrog,

You have to purchase an IMEI unlock code to be able to unlock it and use it on Public Mobile.

You can buy this code on eBay or I recommended this place : www.cellunlocker.net

If you have the original box, please verify that your phone support :

3G UMTS/HSPA (850MHz/1900MHz)

@Leapfrog,

What is the make and model of your phone and where it was purchased ?

If your phone is locked to Telus or Koodo, no unlock needed to use it on Public Mobile.
