I am trying to create a personal hotspot on my iPad. It says I have good signal but when I click on it. A message pops up saying contact service provider

@Chris_dorrestyn, I am not an iOS user and so I cannot comment on notification messaging on that platform. I can say definitively Public Mobile has no dog in the race as far as tethering/hot spot is concerned. This is totally allowed with no restrictions or conditions other than a plan must have data or a data add-on purchased. No special activations are needed to use tethering/hot spot. For some android devices, 'dun' must be added to the APN type field, but this is a device specific thing. I am not sure why the iPad is popping up a notification to contact the provider or what the provider is expected to do.

@Chris_dorrestyn If your APN is correct and set as sp.mb.com, if your Data works and you only have problem setting up your Hotspot with that message saying to contact service provide.
You will need to send a private message to a Moderator_Team, they will help to resolve your problem!
Here is the link: click here
In your message, please provide your name, Public Mobile account number or phone number and PIN.
Good luck!
