Totally agree. Ensure location permission is turned on when updating the credit card using the app.

updating credit card here is tricky and needs luck
try again in an hour using Incognito/private/secret mode on your browser.
Also try to use the app (if you have been using app, uinstall and reinstall)
if still not accepting the card, wait 24 hours and try agian
if you need to resume service and cannot wait that long , buy vouchers from Shoppers Drug Mart and load it using *611
