I think I need a new sim card

My phone randomly stops getting texts.  I looked it up and it said I can take out my sim card and clean it and when I do, it works, but that isn't sustainable.  I can't do that every single day.  How the heck can I get a new sim card from public mobile?

some old phone or you got a new phone?

it could be a device problem as sim card rarely fails.  just don't want to see you pay $10 for a new sim card and then find out it is a device sim reader problem

Lately, there are issues with texting on PM for new members that recently activated their SIM.

Best to contact a CS_Agent through the Chat bubble and type in Submit a Ticket for an agent to look into it for you.

It is not only cleaning your SIM but cleaning SIM contacts inside your phone.
Try to gently clean them not to break them.

If phone works as expected AFTER cleaning then dirt is prime suspect...
