Airplane mode no call history

Is it normal for there to be no call history when your phone is on airplane mode? The only way I know someone called is if they left a vm.

Yes, no call history if your phone is off or in airplane mode.
Number not being available, call will go to vmail.

You might see call history through your PM account.

if they wait long enough and the call gets to voicemail, you should see a log showing calls to voicemail, a number ending with 4001 or 4002
