If you’re having trouble with data on your BlackBerry smartphone, you may need to configure your network settings for Public Mobile. The steps below may not be exactly the same on your particular phone but they should help you to get going.
OS 10
Step 1
Settings> Network and Connections > Mobile Network > Tap the settings icon (dented wheel)
You will need to input the following info:
MMSC URL: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
Proxy URL: 74.49.0.18:80
Proxy Username: Leave blank
Proxy Password: Leave blank
The APN should be sp.mb.com. It cannot be manually edited.
Step 2 (for picture and video messaging)
Open Text Messages > Tap the 3 dots and tap settings > Tap Text Messages > Tap the advanced icon > Scroll down to MMSC Settings
You will need to input the following info:
MMSC URL: http://aliasredirect.net/proxy/mb/mmsc
Proxy URL: 74.49.0.18:80
Proxy Username: Leave blank
Proxy Password: Leave blank
