Logging in to autopay, Google says NOT HTTPS so unable to store credit card information

My plan expired on March 28th and I had set up a new credit card to make payments.

My card was not charged (yet)

When I log in to my account and select autopay, I am warned by Google that the site is not encrypted (HTTPS) and indeed it comes up as HTTP.

Because of this, I am unable to pay with a different credit card or use the one I am currently enrolled in. It says unable to save credit card information due to the sight not being secure.

Is this part of the new 'Refresh'

I need help ASAP

I have had the same problem. Everytime I am using public WiFi Google won't let me!

I even went to settings at the top right of the browser and I unchecked every setting, I restarted my phone and I still had issues.

Now I keep those settings unchecked but as soon as I want to sign in I type in Yahoo.com and I can download using public WiFi.

👍 😛

I had issues with Self-Serve yesternight: logged in successfully but clicking on "My Plan" redirected me to an error page.  Tried another login immediately, error page.  Tried clearing Chrome cache/cookies, same result.  Tried Internet Explorer and Opera (in different VMs), same results.  Tried my phone browser, same result.

So the error is apparently not on my machines, it's network-side or server-side.  Something on PM's end.

Not terribly surprising that something's broken there, given that they just revamped (and are continuing to tweak) their webpages.  Kind of bad timing with a couple of "limited-time" promos floating around, lol.

I have tried both the URL force and I have installed the google chrome plugin HTTPS everywhere. I also disabled all the other plugins that I had running.

I think it may be a firewall issue with work. I'll try it when I get home and report back.

Works fine in Google Chrome. What happens when you force https by editing the url?

Unfortunately I am at work and my choices are Google Chrome or IE11 which both come up as unsecure.

I use a Chrome extension to always force https connect if present.  Just in case a link is still listed for http

@navman911, the self serve portal has major SSL certificate issues from time to time.  As suggested, try a different browser like Firefox, internet explorer, edge, safari.

@navman911, I was able to log into my self serve portal, and navigate to my autopay screen without any issues.  Nothing different from what it used to be.  No security isues.  Page is secured (https).

I am using Firefox.
