We just added funds to the account and we were charged $56.00 and $4.21. But, only $53.76 is available on the account. I don't understand what's happened here.

The amount due before taxes is $48.00 and $53.76 is with the 12% taxes. When the system pulled the money initially it took $56.00 off the credit card. Which is another 12% tax on the 53.76. All together with taxes included for this bill payment it sh...
Well, that doesn't seem right. The balance owing was 48.00 and 53.76 with 12% gst and pst. So, how could they charge gst and pst on the top up amount? That would be charging 12% taxes twice.
