Resolved! eSIM from airalo

I am travelling to the uk and purchased an eSIM from airalo.   I downloaded it and installed it and seemed good.  Then 30 min later it said it could not be activated.  No number shows.  I am still in Vancouver.  Is that the problem?  I am not on a UK...
