Recently a customer reported issues with trying to apply a credit card with expiry in 2015.  The range limits for adding a credit card expiry should envelope the longest expiry offered by the various credit card companies.  Please review this and make the necessary changes on a priority basis.  Asking a customer to use a different credit card is not a solution.

Am i missing something?  2015 is in the past, how could that be used?

The poster has a post in one of the forums, with a date listed as 2025.  I believe this to be a typo in the post above.

As stated in the forum post, the selection box only goes to 2024, making the poster unable to enter the correct information for their desired choice of card.

Oops, I now see the orignal poster is @will13am, but they are not the poster in the forum with the issue.  My bad!

This should be a very simple fix.

My bad, fat fingers. Allowing a date in the past doesn't make sense.

@will13am  this is an issue with the card, not the expiry dates

System could care less what expiry date is (although 2022 is longest I have personally used)

Amazon has the longest if you want to test (20 years in future, so 2037 should be possible)

@kav2001c, the problem is with the system. A customer tried to use a card with 2025 expiry, but it could not be used because the system only allows a card with expiry up to 2024. What I am saying is the system should be flexible enough to accommodate longer expiry dates.

@will13am credit card dates are irrelevant. I linked an old article for you here, but even from my personal experiance I had a Koodo account that was able to successfully process payments even though card was technically expired.

I would be curious to read about the person making the claim that date still matters (this is one single complaint?)
