Someone looking for 5GB, cost would be $50 for the first 3 + $30 for the next 2 = $80 total

How about this. Since it costs less then 1 penny $0.01 cents for Telus/PM to get that block of 1GB of data why not offer 20.00 for the first 2 GB then 5.00 for for additional 1GB data.

I say no to overages. Add-ons is much more preferable, and rollable.

@ladycandy I love your idea! But would that kind of data add-on be for those who had purchased a plan with data already? Otherwise, PM would have to lower the data rates on the plans.
