Auto-add text when people are choosing talk + data

Hi there,

From past analysis, it turns out that with the current plans, if you're already choosing a talk and a data option but no text, the cost is identical if you add text, due to the increase from pick 2 to pick 3 discount offsetting the cost of the texting option.  

With that in mind, and seeing several threads since the new plans went live where folks accidentally activated with talk + data but also wanted text, I'd suggest that PM should auto-upgrade them to include text, since the cost to the customer is $0 to add it.

I can't think of a reason why someone would have only voice and data.  It seems strange to me.  However at the same time, I don't understand why someone would skip selecting the global text option.  When I made my plan choice, I srarted on the left, and continue to select an option in each of voice, SMS, and data.

Inevitably you will get people saying they didn't want text options.

Only reason I can think of is maybe a plan for a child??

That's a good point, @IWIK.  Perhaps then it should instead be done as a prompt when you confirm selection of a plan that contains both talk and data but not text. Something along the lines of "Did you know you could add global texting to the plan you have selected for no additional cost?  Click Cancel to go back and add texting, or OK to continue with the plan as you have chosen."

I agree, a Add-On Txt is also a good thing.

Question, How many outgoing Txts would be allowed as it surely cannot be unlim
