-when i changed my sim card- the flip phone is asking for network passcode

-is it because phone is locked with PM

-pls send the passcode.

We are customers like you so you need to contact a CS_Agent on SIMon Chatbot by creating a ticket on the bottom of the page or private message on the envelope icon above.

 

First check if the phone is Blacklisted. Dial #*06# for the IMEI number and enter it on:

https://www.imei.info/carriers/canada/ 

 

If you purchased the phone other than Telus or Koodo. It maybe locked by another carrier.

@paul27 was the flip phone used in PM network before?  if it works on PM network with the old sim, the it is not a phone lock issue 

 

could be a sim card lock. please pen a ticket with PM Support using this direct link:  https://urlshortner.tiia.ai/Oyn1L6

**Monitor your Community inbox (envelope icon on the top right) after the ticket is opened.  CS Agent will reply you there

we did not connect to wifi- once we booted phone- the network pass code is asked;without which we are not able to use the phone

Then network password would be your wifi password.

If your SIM is locked it will ask for a SIM PUK.

If your phone is locked, it will only show SOS.

It's asking for a network unlock code? You will need to open a ticket to ask a csutomer support agent for the unlock code.  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
