Use all of the resources that @srlawren has given you. You can also find the last IP address that the phone connected to.....You can send a brief text message with a phone number that you can be reached at in case a good samaritan finds it but can only see the last text message on a locked screen.
You can also briefly resume your service via lost/stolen to call your phone in hopes someone will answer it. You can also still access your voicemail by calling your number and pressing * when it connects and entering your 4 digit voicemail pin #. Good luck I hope you find it.

Do you have iPhone or Samsung and have Where is my phone feature turned on? If so, try that before you report stolen.
@softech @sjckpt not just Apple and Samsung--all Android phones have Google's Find My Device built in. Sign into the portal here: https://www.google.com/android/find to see if you can locate it.
EDIT: some more info on this feature:

It's possible you won't be able to use it if you didn't already have location services enabled and so on. But please have a look through the articles.

@sjckpt PM likely won't help
you can either go to My Account and report "Lost or Stolen Phone" to suspend the account (especially you don't think you just misplaced the phone in your house)
