iMessage and FaceTime not working

I just finished transferring my number and I was with Fido before. After the SIM activation and transferred my number, then iMessage and FaceTime both not working, but they worked with I was with Fido and my iPhone is iPhone 13 Pro Max. I tried multiple times of turning on and off the iMessage icon, but it kept telling me that "iMessage Activation: An error occurred during activation. Try again. " Not sure what to do next?? Can someone please help?? Thanks!!!

@Jane2024  Try turning FaceTime off and iMessage off  and shut phone down for 2 mins power back on and turn on face  time and iMessage back on

should be easy

just go to iMessage settings, remove the phone number

then reboot the phone

then go back iMessage and put the number back
