I can not send or receive text messages. I only get email, messenger and phone calls.
I have asked several people for assistance and gone through many settings and processes already. Restart phone and tower signal.
I have been to Telus and Koodo branch and they could not help with no text received or send.
Do I need a new sim card?

Yes, if only SMS an issue, it is a PM system problem with new activation. Voice, data both work but just SMS is the problem. And with the SMS problem, it will affect account verification. PM is aware of the problem and can only fix the issue one account at a time.

PM has problem provisioning text capability for new activations. And of course iMessage activation is impacted without a working SMS.
PM is working on a fix but for now, they can only resolve the issue on a case by case basis. Please open ticket with PM support, private message them here:
