Windows notification beep and internet

I always hear a Windows notification beep during calls. Now lately my internet drops more frequently. Does anyone else have this problem?

@Chuckc  - a couple things to try:

* removing your SIM card then gently reinserting.

* performing a Reset of the device's Network Settings.

Try calls again. Do you hear the beep?

If still yes, try your SIM card into another phone then make a call see if beeps continue.

If they don't continue, it is likely something in the settings in your device.

The above may also help fix finicky data network connections. You could also try toggling into airplane mode, then toggle back again when you notice any drops or lag.

@Chuckc   Not sure about your beeping sound.  Could be a setting on your phone.  

About the internet drops, did it happen more often at a specific location than others, like your home or so?  Try to change it to the Preferred Network Type to  3G ONLY /WCDMA ONLY when you see the drop again and see if it improves the data connection

HI @Chuckc   What kind of phone you have?

Did you try phone reboot?  

and which area you are at?  There are some outage issue in Quebec, and maybe Ottawa as well
