Why do I need a new SIM card? Won't I lose a bunch of my data?

How long does it all take to do, assuming I have a new SIM of yours.

What is telling you that you need a new SIM card? Sometimes you may need one if your service isn’t working.

Do you mean “Lose a bunch of data” as in info stored on your SIM card or lose some of your monthly data allotment? In any event, you won’t lose anything if you do it correctly. Get new SIM Card, log into account, chose Change SIM, enter new SIM number info, change SIM in phone and you’re done. Do NOT log in to your account and register a new account with the new SIM card, just change the SIM card on your existing account.
