Where did my 240 gb Data go?

J1390

Enjoy 240 GB bonus data for 150 days, on us.1
Bonus data will be added to your account by March 30, 2024, as long as your account is active. We’ll also send you a text message confirmation when the bonus data has been successfully added to your account.

I had it last month and now it's now showing on my account. Is it because I went to a lower plan??? Where is the rest of my data I didn't use? Does it not get carried forward for 150 days like it is suppose to?

That's my thoughts exactly

That's the exact thing that happened to me. It's theft.

Yes I will do what's best for me, obviously. Yes they gave us those cash rewards which was like what $1 to $4 Less please lol 😆 that didn't make any difference I like them because I had the ability to be more in control of my plans through the months. And now they started pulling these stuns no thank you. Think about it for a second they gave you 240 gb data and a limit of 150 days? Are you ever going to use it entirely within 150 days?  how much porn will you be watching?

@J1390  No you weren't loyal to them. You stayed with them because they paid you to stay with them via their cash rewards. You recommended them in exchange for cash rewards when new people signed up. Now that they are stopping giving you as much money you are leaving, which is fine because you need to be loyal to your wallet. Do what's best for you.

Well PM was different they were for the people. It was since there inception that was their motto and motive now it has changed. It started with the new reward points which is **bleep** btw they knew it. So they gave this little treat for everyone to keep them on. Obviously the parent company didn't like it to they added a clause like above. Sleazy ways seems to be they way this company runs atleast other companies are pretty straightforward like saying we are taking your money and what you get with it. No rewards is probably better there's no expectations. Anyway it doesn't matter I'll be moving way from PM all my accounts goes with me. So it's all good.

It doesn't matter what they say so the rewards is basically a scam? Pretending that they actually care about loyalty? But truthfully they don't anymore?

@J1390 PM isn't loyal to you but then again you aren't loyal to PM.

@J1390

loyalty ??...unfortunately, that's disappearing from most Canadian corporations now. These days, it's all about the profit and to make the shareholders happy...not the paying customers. Be loyal to your wallet.

@J1390

here's the wording on that subject, clipped from the PM Help Files....

Will I lose my special bonus data if I switch plans?

The bonus data will remain active unless your account becomes inactive, you switch to a plan of lower value or to an incompatible plan.

I was on a 60 gb plan plus 250 gb that makes it to 300 gb. Who can actually use up 300 gb in a month we aren't working for congress. Giving people a break with payments is just not Public mobile motive anymore. I think it's time to move on to a new provider. I'm obviously very disappointed with Public mobile.

Changing plan removes bonus data.

@J1390

As many members have posted about losing their bonus data after downgrading their plan to take advantage of the bonus data. It backfired and lost it unfortunately.

@J1390 The rules stated that if you change to a lower value plan you would lose the data bonus.
