Unable to receive in coming calls

New to this network but I can’t recieve incoming call.

I tried trouble shooting but not helpful 

I am a little frustrated with the network

If you did porting of your number, maybe porting is not completed or failed.

When you call somebody what number do they see?

Hello @Zhion, I had the same problem when joining this network. For me, the reason was in my settings, when I activated my setting automatically switched to block all calls, how to fix this is to go to settings in your phone, calls, notifications then put all on. another problem is that if it's an apple phone it automatically goes to your email, to change this go to phone settings, phone, caller ID then select if you want calls to go to your number or email.

@Zhion  Additional info on porting 

When transferring (porting) your number to any new carrier it’s important to remember to leave the old providers SIM card in the phone until you receive the confirmation text from old carrier @that point you have 90 mins to reply YES to the confirmation text … also when going thru this process the new provider will want you old providers account number and will ask for IMEI number disregard this (IMEI) number as it has a tendency to just cos porting hiccups .. so if your ready to port to pm and already activated a SIM card you can go to your self serve serve profile tab and change /transfer (port) number this can also be done on activation but it’s advised to pick a temp number first then port

@Zhion - What happens when you dial your number from another line, what message do you hear?

 

If you didn't port a number over to public mobile and missed the text...they try to

 

  • restart your phone
  • toggle into and out of airplane mode
  • perform a Reset of the device's Network Settings
  • can you try your sim into another phone to see if incoming works?

did you just activate with a porting request?

 

A critical part to porting is to receive a text from your old provider and you have to reply YES within 90 mins.  If you are not receiving calls and text on your PM sim card and can only make outgoing calls,  then you might have missed the step and hence porting was not completed

 

There is a number to call to talk to live support,  they can re-trigger the process for you.  I will message the number to you via the Community inbox.  Check the envelope icon on top right.  Call them and get it fixed

@Zhion  Did you just port your number over and miss the text to confirm port ? If so there a number to talk to live support to restart the port process . Will send you it private message
