Unable to download public mobile app

Good day:

I am not that tech savy. I purchased a basic TCL Flip phone model 4058E and it does not have a phone number associated with it. I thought that I would get one when I purchased a plan from public mobile but didn't realize I had to download an app to finish activation. I am unable to download the app because the cell phone gives me the message that my google account is not yet associated with a device - what do I do to fix this.

Hi @1Butterfly 

You'd need an android or iphone to download the app to finish signing up. The only work around is if you can get a friend or family member to download the app on their phone and help you finish the sign up. It can be done that way. Then you're good to go.
