Transfering my old number from rogers and now can’t received any phone call

I transfer to public mobile from rogers 3 days ago and now non of my friends can get a hold of me but I can still make a phone call.   What was wrong?

Either by contacting customer service agent or calling the Telus porting phone number.  I private messaged you the number.

Yes I did.   I can’t received any phone calls but I can make a phone call.  I called rogers they told me some one from public mobile has to approve my request

do you get a SMS message from your old carrier asking to confirm if you would like to Transfer your number. Your reply should be: YES.

 

if you stuck with Transferring your old Phone Number, or is not complete processing

can you do some troubleshoot,

you can try reseat the SIM card and Make sure your phone is off before removing your SIM card,

1. power off your device

2. take out the SIM card,

3. waiting a 1 minute,

4. put it back and power on,

5. toggling airplane mode off/on,  

 

and you can try to reset network settings and Changing APN Settings,
for iphone

Go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings.

This also resets Wi-Fi networks and passwords,

Select the brand and model of your phone,

 

and try manually selecting network "3G ONLY" or WCDMA only,

and do Rebooting your phone ,This is quick and simple,to refreshing your network,

*what is meant by rebooting the device turn off and turn it back on.

 

try to check update your device,

 

you can try to test your SIM card in another device to you know the issue from SIM card network or your device issue.

Are you able to receive texts? How is data working?  Did you respond to Roger's text to confirm the port request?

 

Likely a stuck port.  If a stuck port, you are unable to receive calls or text.  However, able to send text and call out.

 @tenny1988 : Did you leave your Rogers SIM in to confirm the transfer text? Is your Rogers service still working?
