I have an iPhone SE, I took the number from PM (no porting). I had wifi off and cellular off on my iPhone. I texted in a green bubble to my grandsons iPhone number and his reply came to my iPad, iMac, and MacBook and NOT my iPhone in a blue bubble.

I have similar problem. I can send but not receive a text on my phone. But the recieved text will show on my ipad. I have an iphone SE. This happens when I have both wife and data turned off on my phone.
