@Goldmember

This could be any number of issues.....does it happen in one location? Or while on the move? Does it happen just when using your calling services (3G network only) or with mobile data and texting as well? (4G LTE network and/or 3G network)?

If it's a poor network connection first try rebooting your phone. Then try toggling airplane mode on/off. If only your calling is affected and your incoming calls tend to go to voicemail try switching your network mode to 3G only.

Do you get an error message like Sim card not detected or registered on the network? Power off your phone and remove the Sim card. Check the Sim card and Sim card slot for any dirt or debris. Gently clean the Sim card with a Q-tip dampened with a little isopropyl alcohol. Does the Sim card fit snugly in the Sim card tray? If not use a little carefully placed tape or a paper shim to hold the card in place.

Lastly it could be a provisioning issue but report back after trying the troubleshooting tips above first before exploring the provisioning possibility.

Why do you think it is the sim card?  Please provide details so we can help.

It could be cell tower issues - loosing power, signal, etc.

Could be your phone is loosing contact with SIM. Remove SIM, gently clean SIM contact on SIM card and inside phone. Or phone is at the end of its life... electronics starts to fail...

HI @Goldmember   Please reboot your phone first

and do you have sim card from another carrier to test the phone?  It might be device antenna problem

@Goldmember   it could be sim card or account or network but it could also be a device issue

Where is your location? city/province?

What brand and model of phone you have?

do you notice this happen more often in a particular location (home, office, etc) or it happens everywhere?

First try to reseat your sim card (power off the phone, take the sim out for a minute , then put it back and power up)

If that does not work, try to put your PM sim card in another phone and see if it works better there for a day or two
