Signal quality 4G, Mississauga, Oakville ON are!
Hi , From the moment Public mobile started to offer 5G, my signal Strength for 4G deteriorated in the Mississauga, Oakville Ontario area . I am not sure it was duty 5G and 4G share the same frequency or too many people now on the system! Any information of possible future improvement or i have to considered some alternatives! Thank you.

Hi Community, anyone who came from Bell/Rogers if you can compare signal strength, for 5G(4G) for Mississauga/Oakville/Hamilton ON with Public mobile? Thanks

Heyy
I hope you're doing well!
I live in Vancouver and I joined Public, back in September, after hearing about the benefits + 5G from my friend!
I was a little curious to see if the 4G is as good, network-wise, as 5G. So, I selected 4G from the phone settings, and then, I noticed it showed LTE or LTE+
I was trying to use it for a day or two. My honest answer, I like the 5G network better, it stays consistent, mostly and when 3G is selected, the network becomes H+ and then, goes to 4G, the network is better in 3G than 4G (little weird ik) (its 3G only, but the network shows as 4G written on it)
In both cases, 3G & 4G are okay but, speed-wise & network-wise, 5G is better, I like how they are offering 5G at a cheaper rate!
I believe still 5G is the next gen of tech, so, it is better, 4G has a little impact, but, still, it depends on where you are living or maybe the device as well!
5G -- Better speed, and network, but, drains a good amount of juice from the phone
4G -- less than 4G, battery still works fine
3G -- best network, slows speed, the battery does not get impacted too much
So, in the end, you can just use 5G (if available/supported by phone) or 4G may fluctuate more (does for me though), else, if speed is not a concern, then, 3G is the best option, network wise, battery life wise!
Cheers!
