Samsung j8 Compatibility

Hi community friends.
I have a buddy that’s interested of switching from Virgin to public mobile. His only concern is if his Samsung j8 will work with Public Mobile Network. Will it also work with VoLTE?

if you have a PM account with a hard sim, try your sim in his phone. Turn off wifi, dial a number to see if the phone call drops to 3G or stays on LTE. If it stays on LTE...volte is turned on.

The phone will work with Public mobile, but it is not on the official list for VoLTE compatible phones.
