Depends where you got the phone. All providers in Canada are now required to allow unlocking of "their" phones locked to their network...for free.

If the phone is not locked to Koodo or Telus, you can purchase unlock codes for a very low price on eBay. 

 

eBay unlockers include unlocking instructions too.

You need to contact your original mobile provider to unlock your phone.  It is a free service.

 

 If the phone is locked to Telus/Koodo/Public Mobile, you can contact PM moderator to unlock.
