Why do I get this message when I have a Canada / US plan?

Public Mobile here. Welcome to USA. You will need a Roaming Add-On to use your phone if you do not have a Canada-US or Canada-US-Mexico plan. You can get a US Roaming Add-on for as low as $10 for 15 days. Go to https://selfserve.publicmobile.ca/ for Add-On options.

Please note, customers may experience differences in coverage and service quality (including 911 calls) due to certain US carrier 3G network shutdowns.

Hi

they send this message to all the clients once they enter in USA. it is automated message once your network is connected with USA carriers. in case, if you have Canada , Usa roaming included in your plan then you do not have to worry about it. just ignore that message they do not charge anything extra because it is a prepaid company.

Hey @Don76

I go to the US twice a month and I get that message too. It's programmed into the PM system to notify you with this message when you are close, at or past the US border. You'll even get the message if you have a Canada US plan. I got them all the time so I just ignored them. You can too.

@Don76

that message can be ignored as long as you have the Canada / US plan. Whenever PM customer crosses the US border..or even comes close to it, we get that nag. Just ignore. Make sure to enable Roaming Data in cell settings.
