I changed my plans to $35 for 20gb 4g LTE with 3×times rewards points but I am not getting only one time rewards points instead of 3× times rewards points.

Why?

Did you agree to join Public Points? Or are you still on the old $$ rewards program? If so stay with $$ rewards. If not and you switched to points then currently you earn at 5% rate of return. However you have a solid argument to ask that you should be given 3×points on your plan amount payments. While the promotional 3×points is for new activations then there is no reason for public mobile to advertise and market 3×points on plans in your self serve account. As an existing customer you get what you get in rewards there is no need to advertise 3×points in self serve accounts. If you are within your first 12 months of activation starting on or after July 13th 2022 then you get 3×points already. If you activated before July 13th 2022 you are in one of three positions:

 

  1. You activated between January 25th and July 12th 2022 and you are a Public Points program customer earning 5% back in points.
  2. You activated before January 25th 2022 and you are on the $$ rewards program.
  3. You started out as #2 but you then joined the Public Points program either mistakenly or willingly and now earn 5% back in points on all pm purchases.

All three of these categories  encompass the majority of existing customers and advertising in self serve accounts that changing to the plans that advertise you will earn 3× points is false and misleading advertising and classic bait and switch marketing from within our own self serve accounts.

 

This contravenes the Competition Bureau of Canada legislation and is reason enough to contact customer support and ask that they apply the 3× points promotion to your plan amount purchases on your new plan for a minimum of the next 12 months....if not for the entire length of time you stay on your current plan. Public mobile should pull this messaging from plans within our self serve accounts before more customers make a irrevocable decision based on false and misleading marketing by pm.

 

You may need to escalate your request to a supervisor, manager or the escalations department and be adamant about filing a complaint if you cannot reach a mutually satisfactory resolution.

HI @ZULFIKARALI   3x points is only for new activation.  Even those who switched over from old to new rewards won't get the 3x points

 

And , look like you have been with PM for some time, you have migrated to the new rewards points?  You should have stayed on the old rewards
