It's a common mistake. I think because Public Mobile has explained their support model and the function of this community very poorly.

several weeks ago I think there was an offer for new customers to purchase a sim and a plan...kind of a bundle deal. OP should definitely message Customer Support for their intervention.

Also, Public Mobile SIM cards cost $10 each. Or even $5 each when they're on sale or part of a special promo activation designed to attract new customers.

If you paid $33.60 each for yours then some middleman vendor has ripped you off. That is who owes you a refund you'll probably never get.
