This should have been completed with a few hours of the customer support agent submitting the request.  However, it can take some time before the Public Mobile customer suport agent gets a chance to look into your situation.  Have you received a private message from a customer support agent?   In the meanwhile, you should be keeping your PC Mobile SIM in your device as you need to reponsd  to the text message from PC Mobile to authorize the phone number transfer.

@computergeek541   so, even PC Mobile is a choice there, it won't work?

 I know on activation portal, PC Mobile is listed there now

I edited my previous message to include more informaiton. I've never actually tried it, but Public Mobile says that a CSA is required here:  https://www.publicmobile.ca/en/on/get-help/articles/choose-your-phone-number

As I was saying earlier, it never did make sense to me because Telus PC Mobile customers were on postpaid (before being switched to the Koodo brand) while Bell PC Mobile customers are on prepaid.  You'll notice that the help article doesn't make a distinction between postpaid or prepaid for PC Mobile (or whether it was a former PC Mobile number migrated to Koodo postpaid).

@Marl   you have an existing account with PM already

You can login to My Account , Profile page and click Change Phone Number, the pick Transfer number and follow

For porting form PC Mobile, you will need to provide your PC acocunt number.  From experience of another customer, you have to call  PC Mobile Client Care (#7266) and talk to a live agent to get the account number.

When porting from PC Mobile, a Public Mobile customer support agent needs to get involved, at least based on all the information that I have seen from Public Mobile.  I never did quite understand that though as any remaining PC Mobile customers would actually be Bell prepaid customers (and not Telus postpaid customers).  Even then, that doesn't line up with the issues porting from Koodo prepaid.

@Marl

For your port request to be successfully, your PC account should still be active.

And leave you're PC sim card in your phone until you get the PAT text from your old service provider and you reply yes within 90 minutes.

For this, you will need to open a ticket through the chatbot and ask a customer support agent for help.  https://widget.telus.tiia.ai/publicmobile/publicmobile.html
